Designed for all seafarers, gives you the basic information required to carry out security duties onboard and help you to have heightened security awareness. STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) is MCA approved.

Our Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) Online Course is designed for all seafarers and is intended to provide the knowledge required to enable personnel with basic security awareness in support of the Ships Security Plan. The course has been developed in accordance with the Maritime Labour Convention and the Manila Amendments of 2010, which detail a mandatory requirement for all seafarers to have received security awareness training by January 2014.
Please note you will be able to access your course immediately but you will not receive your certificate until your credentials have been verified (usually within 72 hours during the working week). Once your credentials have been verified your certificate will be sent electronically to you immediately and a hard copy dispatched usually within 5-10 working days.
